George Bayless

George was born in Hawk Springs, WY in 1940 and spent much of his childhood at Ridgeway, MO. He grew up with an agriculture background with experience in cattle, grain, hogs and the agri-business of aerial spraying, farm equipment, livestock feed, farm supplies and grain merchandising.

George started in aviation at an early age and is qualified in several types of corporate and airline jet powered aircraft.

He is also very active in his church, his Sunday school class and several charitable and fraternal organizations from the local level to the international level. He is also a supporter of several major fish related organizations.

George developed ENVIO-WEIGHTS material for fishing tackle and other weights out of a desire to reduce lead in the environment and developed a website for the promotion of the product and product lines.

TA Tackle, his private label is named for his daughters, RRM Outdoors, an outdoor sales company is named for his granddaughters and RGM Global Asset Management Co. is dedicated to his  father and uncle. All business decisions are based on the family values. ENVIO-WEIGHTS is dedicated to his mother and grandmother who taught him to fish at age 5 with a cane pole, cord line, nail for a sinker, corn cob for a float and a hook and garden worms for bait for bull heads.

He is a dedicated fisherman and fishes by the rules set forth by the International Game Fish Association.

George is very active in environmental issues concerning peoples health and the health and welfare of our environment. At the present time, the  Bayless Foundation is under development and  funded through a percentage of sales from his enterprises.  The foundation will help enable the disabled to be able to fish and also contribute to the research of environmental quest.

In 2007 George became an International representative, representing Missouri with the International Game Fish Association.

June 28, 2008 George was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame for Special Achievement

George also writes outdoor articles for small weekly newspapers called Outdoors with George and Grandpa and the Kids
